This is the flat plan for my double page spread, I know that it doesn't look like much but I think that once I have produced the final double page spread at the end I think it will be good. I haven't decided on a final background colour yet, I am going to wait until I've made the double page spread until I decide on a final colour.

I think having one picture of an individual taking up half the page is a good idea because then the reader can clearly see what the article is about and I think the simplicity will make the magazine look good.

I am going to stick with the gold writing because I think it looks good and it also stands out, so if it was on a shelf in a shop I think that people will definitely see it.

Draft of my contents page

For my contents page I was inspired by Empire magazine, on their contents page they have a picture in the centre of the page and then have the page numbers towards the bottom of the page. I think this is a good idea because it stands out and visually it is very good to look at.
